There is nothing as gentle as true strength, and nothing as strong as true gentleness.

The bold mix of neutral colors in this piece are meant to reflect this paradoxical existence of gentleness and strength. The thought of strength and gentleness coexisting inspired me both in the colors I chose, and in the strokes I used. As a result, this piece seems to reflect the paradoxical relationship of true strength and gentleness.
