Our heart's position will change our heart's perspective...

On many days the battlefield of disease looks much like this picture…all is well, then suddenly it seems as if you are standing on a steep and slippery cliff, fighting for any morsel of physical normalcy, and engaged in an ongoing balancing act of daily life mixed with physical warfare–warfare that takes place not only in the body, but also in the mind and heart of a person…

I have found, maintaining my inner focus is essential–and maintaining my heart is crucial to fight ongoing battles…

I must focus to maintain my heart’s position and see from Heaven’s perspective–I must make it my delight, everyday, to maintain my focus upon the horizon, “from which my help comes from”…I must keep the eyes of my heart forever fixed upon the Lover of my soul…

Hidden within the lines of Psalm 121, lies the sweet manna for this powerful Kingdom truth:

Our heart’s position will change our heart’s perspective–cultivating even greater faith and increased spiritual endurance in the process…we learn to live and see from Heaven to Earth when our heart is fixed on God…

So for now, you will find me meditating on the words of king David…breathing deeply and looking to the horizon, “from which my help comes from”…

For my Beloved One is my Forever-Keeper…

Psalm 121 - a song to take you higher, up and above your circumstances…

“I look up to the mountains and hills, longing for God’s help. But then I realize that our true help and protection come only from the Lord, our Creator who made the heavens and the Earth. He will guard me and guide me, never letting me stumble or fall. GOD IS MY KEEPER…” (Psalm 121:1-3 TPT)
